After entertainers like F-2.. F-3, a new film made in the crazy combination of Victory Venkatesh-Anil Ravipudi.. Sankranthi is coming. Let's see what are the special features of this family entertainer that have come to the audience today as a gift for Sankranthi.
Sankranthiki Vasthunnam Movie Story:
YD Raju (Venkatesh) is a former police officer. Despite his dedication, he quits his job marries Bhagyam (Aishwarya Rajesh), and settles down in a village, angry that the department has treated him unfairly. He has four children and is happily living with his family. He has to participate in an operation for his ex-girlfriend, police officer Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chowdhury). But Bhagyam, suspicious of her husband, refuses to send him alone. She also wants to be a part of this operation. So what is this operation? The rest of the story is about how Raju successfully completes this operation while being torn between his wife and ex-girlfriend.
Sankrantiki Vastunam Movie Analysis:
Another rowdy calls the CM and demands the release of his elder brother, who has kidnapped a famous businessman. If the jail superintendent is called to release the rowdy, the CM will be shocked to know that he is very strict. In this situation, the Chief Minister will find a hero who quit the police job seven years ago, arrest him, and assign him the responsibility of solving this problem.
A green rowdy video calls a CM-level person and threatens him. A jail superintendent will be shocked to know that the CM is not aware of how to deal with him. A former policeman will be summoned for an operation as if there is no one else. If you think about it logically, the audience will definitely be shocked by the basic story of ‘We are coming to Sankranthi’. However, with Anil Ravipudi’s movies, logic will have to be put on hold and you will have to sit in the theater. Without thinking about the story, without worrying about logic, if you just enjoy the entertainment in the scenes, ‘Sankranthiki Yaalaiman’ will make you pass the time easily.
Victory Venkatesh is known to be very enthusiastic when he gets a comedy character with a family touch. Anil designed such a character. He also gave Aishwarya Rajesh a good role as an innocent village girl. With the performance of both of them, ‘Sankranthiki Yaalaiman’ went on for most of the two and a half hours without getting bored.
When a husband, who is living a good life with his wife in the village, comes into his life with an ex-girlfriend.. how will the house burn? How will the girlfriend, who knows that her ex-boyfriend, who said he would not get married after breaking up with her, also has four children, get angry? Anil Ravipudi tried to spread the laughter by showing how the man was crushed in the situation of having to travel with both of them for a few days under unavoidable circumstances. This background drove the film forward. The kidnapping drama mentioned above is the type that makes the whole thing turn into a soot-filled mess. Anil and the team drove this affair as if there was some story in the film.
Venky-Aishwarya's chemistry is the lifeblood of 'Sankranthiki Yaayanam'. The scenes between the two compete and act, give the audience maximum entertainment. The highlight of ‘Sankranthiki Yaalaanam’ is the entertainment provided by the character of Bulliraju, a child who is very good at cooking and cooking and taking advantage of everyone after watching this generation of OTT movies. The scene where the child shows his universal form for the first time is a laugh-out-loud laugh.
The child also acts cleverly, so the audience is entertained whenever he appears in the film. If there were more such characters, the comedy dose would have increased even more. However, the attempt to make people laugh with the role of the jailer played by Marathi actor Upendra Limaye did not work much. Not only does the character, which is made too dumb, seem silly, but the scenes associated with it could not make people laugh as much as they wanted. From the hero’s entry to the time he is in the village with his family, there is no shortage of entertainment. All the scenes that come in the background of the family seem fun.
But from the moment the hero becomes a part of the operation, there is a feeling that ‘We are coming to Sankranthi’ is going off track. In the second half, the stunts performed by the characters in the name of comedy seem too silly. The scenes that are played in an over-the-top style could not provide the expected entertainment. No matter how much logic is put aside, some scenes seem too far-fetched. The scenes where a dead person manages to upset everyone while pretending to be alive are part of it. We have seen this kind of comedy decades ago. Relying on such scenes means... not practicing at all in terms of writing.
The second half moves along smoothly due to some comedy workout here and there, but... it is disappointing compared to the first half. When I thought the movie was over, they stretched the story a little more to add an emotional angle. That episode that comes in the background of the hero's teacher seems completely unnecessary. Overall, there is not much to say about the story in ‘Sankranthiki Yaalaiman’. But if you leave aside the story and logic, it is a fun pastime to enjoy with the family during Sankranthi time.
Sankrantiki Vastunnam Movie Actors Performance:
Venkatesh played a role that suits him perfectly in ‘Sankranthiki Yaalaiman’. He was a character that suited his age and his comedy timing, so he was a hit. His look is very good. His screen presence and comedy timing are amazing. Audiences from all walks of life connect with his character. Venky has once again proven that any senior hero is next to him in cultivating comedy. As usual, his scenes without thinking about the image and without any fuss impress everyone.
Aishwarya Rajesh also impressed as an innocent village girl. After Venky, she is the best performance in the film. Her comedy timing is also good. Meenakshi Chowdhury looked beautiful.. attractive. The acting is okay. The child who played the role of Bulliraju, Venky's son, was amazing. Muralidhar Goud made me laugh. VTV Ganesh initially made me laugh for a while. But after that, that role is not seen much. Upendra Limaye could not do much in comedy. Saikumar.. Srinivas Reddy.. Naresh.. all the other artists are okay.
Technical category:
For the first time, music director Bheems Cicerolia used the opportunity of a film with a big hero well. His songs.. background music became the attraction of the film. 'Godari Gattu Mau..' is not only good to listen to.. but also good to watch. RR went on with good enthusiasm. Sameer Reddy's cinematography is also good. There is no compromise on the production values. The necessary amount of money was spent on the film. Writer-cum-director Anil Ravipudi, as usual, did not focus much on the story. He took the concept of an ex-cop.. a villager getting married.. an ex-girlfriend between them.. and focused on entertaining them. His narration is a bit over-the-top style which is disappointing. But he has succeeded in providing time-pass entertainment to the audience.
Finally: Sankranthi is coming: Timepass
