Return of The Dragon Movie Review: Ashwath Marimuthu made a name for himself as a good director with his first film, Ori Devuda. He was praised for making a good film with sensitive elements. Now, Pradeep Ranganathan, who has come into good form as a director and hero, has come to the audience with Dragon.

Ashwath and Pradeep's combo means that there are good expectations among the youth. Thus, he revolved around the topics of love, breakup, college, and career that connect with the youth. So what is the story in such a movie? How is the movie? Let's see for a moment.

Return of The Dragon Movie Story:

D. Raghavan (Pradeep Ranganathan) is a school topper. After completing Plus 2, he wins a gold medal and proposes to the girl he loves. But the girl says that she only likes bad boys.. That's what girls like. With this, D. Raghavan decides to enter an engineering college as a Dragon.

There, Keerthi (Anupama) falls in love with this Dragon. Dragon, who has a backlog of 48 subjects including engineering, is given an opportunity by the principal of the college (Myskin). But Dragon does not use that opportunity. Finally, Dragon is suspended from the college. After that, Dragon manages his parents at home for two years by pretending that he has got a job.

He passes the time with the help of friends and lovers. Thus, Dragon, who lives idle and eats without any responsibility, says that he is a failure. Keerthi says okay to the good relationship he has got. Dragon, who is suffering from a breakup, gets a job in a roundabout way. After that, he grows up with his own talent. Everything comes with a car, a house.

And then he settles for marriage with a girl from a big family named Pallavi (Kayadu Lohar). When everything is going well, this dragon once encounters the college principal? What are the consequences after that? What is the damage caused by this fake certificate? What are the difficulties that the dragon faces when he returns to college? What will happen to the dragon in the end? This is something that you have to watch in the theater.

Return of The Dragon Movie Analysis:

Many films have been made on general topics like college love, breakups, and careers. However, no matter how many films come with this concept, the youth audience continues to support it. Ashwath Marimuthu has added his new story to this concept. Currently, he is earning jobs with fake certificates.

The audience who has watched the first half will think that he has made a comedy entertainer with this line. But if you watch till the end, you will understand the real story. It will be understood that he has made a film that gives a good message that because of a job done in the streets to make our life better.. someone else's life is ruined.

When it comes to Dragon, he also showed the point that what kind of men do girls want when they are studying in college? What kind of men do they want when it comes to marriage? He also showed the consequences if you do not focus on your career.

He showed the situation of a boy who roams around irresponsibly without any work. The beginning of the movie seems good. As it goes on, it seems like he is making some interesting points.

But as it goes on, everything goes beyond imagination. A boy with 48 backlogs gets a job with a fake certificate.. Worked brilliantly in the same company for three years.. Becomes the best employee of the year.. Goes to the range of earning three lakhs per month.. When you see all this.. it does not seem credible.

If he is really that talented, can he not clear those backlogs? It makes you doubt. If you have such doubts and logic, you won't be able to enjoy the movie that much. If you leave out some such illogical scenes, the first half will be satisfying.

In the second half, the hero steps into college again.. and all the scenes that come after that are not very satisfying. There are college episodes that disappoint the audience who had expected something till then. And when everyone thinks that this movie will end normally, he gives a good emotional touch.

Until then, everyone thinks of the hero as a fraud. He is bad enough to do any fraud to improve my life, but... he is not bad enough to ruin the life of his neighbor for my life. The dialogue at the end is emotionally touching.
